These need to be refilled less often and have a larger flow capacity. The Neos, in turn, is a bit more refined and adds extra vitalization in addition to filtration.

But if you spread it over the usage (several years), you drink high-quality water for a few cents per liter. You save on plastic bottles, your body no longer ingests residues, and you don't have to worry about the quality of what comes out of your tap!
