Peppermint Oil - essential for your bathroom cabinet

The high menthol content of Peppermint Oil has a cooling and refreshing effect, making it an ideal ingredient in your DIY toothpaste - and of course, it adds a nice flavour!

After exercise, it's also wonderful to apply oil diluted with a few drops of peppermint oil and a carrier oil to your tired muscles. The peppermint improves blood circulation and reduces tension.

Use and tips

Always mix essential oil with a carrier oil, such as olive oil, almond oil or jojoba oil. Use about 1 - 2% essential oil in your products (e.g., 1 - 2 grams of peppermint oil per 100 grams of almond oil). Peppermint oil can be quite strong so make sure you dose it correctly.

Peppermint oil blends well with basil, bergamot, cajeput, cedarwood, eucalyptus, lemon, lime, mandarin, marjoram, niaouli, pine, rosemary and thyme essential oils.
