Operation

The filtration process of the Aqualine 5 works in several steps. First, a ceramic filter removes bacteria, rust, and other particles. Then comes the activated carbon filter, which absorbs chlorine, pesticides, and other chemical substances.

Subsequently, the water flows through the mineralization filter, where minerals are added and, if you choose the alkaline version, the pH value is increased.

For optimal water flow, it is important to properly saturate the filter during the initial installation. This means flushing the system a few times before it works optimally. This prevents blockages and ensures maximum purification by the filter.

Maintenance

To continue guaranteeing the quality of your water, it is important to replace the components in a timely manner. The ceramic filter lasts 6 to 12 months, depending on how much it is used. The activated carbon filter needs to be replaced every 6 months. The mineral stones can be used for up to 3 years and the pH ring for about a year.

Clean the collection tank easily with a soft brush and water. Please note: aggressive cleaning agents affect filter effectiveness, so make sure to clean the material gently.
