Manuka honey has been used in New Zealand for centuries as a health booster. The raw, monofloral Manuka Honey is classified based on the presence of Methylglyoxal (MGO). The MGO 1000+ Manuka Honey contains at least 1000 mg/kg of Methylglyoxal. This results in a slightly less sweet taste but offers maximum MGO strength. Manuka honey MGO 1000+ is one of the most premium types of manuka on the market.

MNZ’s monofloral MGO 1000+ Manuka Honey contains at least 1000 mg/kg of Methylglyoxal (MGO), a unique compound responsible for the high bioactive potency of this honey. This raw honey is harvested from beehives in remote, pristine areas of New Zealand and is carefully tested and certified to guarantee Methylglyoxal levels. Each batch of honey is classified based on its MGO value, ensuring authenticity and bioactive potency.
