Peppermint oil - a must-have in your bathroom cabinet

The high menthol content of Peppermint Oil has a cooling and refreshing effect, making it an ideal ingredient in your DIY toothpaste - and of course it adds a lovely flavour!

After exercise, it is also lovely to apply oil with a few drops of peppermint oil, diluted in a carrier oil, to your tired muscles. The peppermint improves circulation and reduces tension.

Use and tips

Always mix essential oil into a carrier oil, such as olive oil, almond oil or jojoba oil. Use about 1 - 2% essential oil in your products (for example, 1 - 2 grams of peppermint oil per 100 grams of almond oil). Peppermint oil can be quite strong, so make sure you dose it carefully.

Peppermint oil blends well with basil, bergamot, cajeput, cedarwood, eucalyptus, lemon, lime, mandarin, marjoram, niaouli, pine, rosemary and thyme essential oil.

Gebruik etherische olie niet onverdund op de huid en niet inwendig. Meng voor gebruik op de huid altijd met een basisolie.

Alleen voor uitwendig gebruik. Test een nieuw product eerst op een klein stukje huid en stop bij roodheid of irritatie. Vermijd contact met ogen en slijmvliezen. Ben je zwanger of geef je borstvoeding, overleg dan bij twijfel met je arts. Buiten bereik van kinderen bewaren.
