Organic & open-pollinated

All seeds in this package are organic and open-pollinated.
Open-pollinated means that the characteristics of the variety are preserved from generation to generation. This allows you to harvest your own seeds, sow them again and contribute to:

high nutritional value
strong, healthy plants
the preservation of biodiversity

Open-pollinated vegetables adapt to their surroundings and fit perfectly into a natural and sustainable way of gardening.

Why choose the summer package?

✓ 100% organic & open-pollinated
✓ Ideal for summer growing
✓ Suitable for vegetable gardens, allotments and larger planters
✓ Generously filled packets
✓ For anyone who wants to eat consciously and seasonally

Sowing & storage

Sow the seeds during the sowing periods stated on the packets.
Not using everything at once? Store the seeds in the freezer, or in a cool, dry place. That way they will last you several seasons.

The seeds are organic and open-pollinated. Open-pollinated means that certain characteristics are fixed in the variety, generation after generation. Open-pollinated vegetables have a high nutritional value and contribute optimally to biodiversity on our planet.

For our seeds, we partner with De Zaderij: a Dutch grower fully dedicated to cultivating and propagating organic, open-pollinated seeds.

De Zaderij grows its seeds with respect for nature, soil, and biodiversity. Instead of mass production, they consciously opt for small-scale, careful cultivation. This keeps the seeds strong, pure, and suitable for self-propagation.

All seeds are:
✓ 100% organic
✓ open-pollinated (no F1 hybrids)
✓ adapted to the Dutch climate
✓ suitable for vegetable gardens, allotments, and permaculture

By choosing De Zaderij, you choose:
✓ greater food independence
✓ preservation of old and strong varieties
✓ connection with the natural growth rhythm

Like De Zaderij, we believe that growing your own food is a powerful step towards a more conscious, healthier, and sustainable life.
