The Alina Red Light Reading Lamp gives you 100% red light (660 nm), so you can read comfortably in the evening without disrupting your biorhythm. While white and blue light keep you alert, this calming light is designed specifically for the hours before bedtime. Handy on your bedside table, clipped to your bed or to your book.

Key benefits

• ✔ 100% red light (660 nm), may contribute to melatonin production and a calmer evening rhythm
• ✔ Adjustable clip and flexible arm, attaches to a book, bed frame or desk
• ✔ Three light settings for the brightness you find comfortable
• ✔ Cordless and rechargeable, up to 12 hours of use on a full charge
• ✔ Flicker-free light, easy on your eyes and won't disturb a sleeping partner

Detailed description

Red light at 660 nm differs from white and blue light in that it barely stimulates the melanopsin receptors in your eyes. These receptors respond strongly to blue light, which keeps you alert, even in the evening. Because red light doesn't have this effect, it may contribute to a calmer evening rhythm and support the natural production of melatonin.

Use the reading lamp during your evening routine: when reading before bed, during a breathing exercise or simply as atmospheric lighting for the last hour of the day. The lamp has an adjustable clip and flexible arm, so you can easily attach it to your book, bed frame or desk.
