Functionality

The Aqualine 5 uses a multi-stage filtration system. First, a ceramic filter removes bacteria, parasites, and rust. Then, the activated carbon filter absorbs chemicals such as chlorine and heavy metals, improving taste and odor.

Next, the water flows through the mineralization filter, where essential minerals are added. This makes the water alkaline and contributes to better hydration. Finally, silver-ion technology prevents bacterial growth in the water reservoir.

Why the Aqualine 5?

The Aqualine 5 effectively purifies tap water, ensuring you always have access to clean and healthy drinking water without chemical contaminants. The filter removes heavy metals, chlorine, and other harmful substances, while retaining essential minerals such as magnesium, potassium, and calcium.

The high-quality borosilicate glass of the collection tank makes the Aqualine 5 a safe and sustainable choice. This material does not release harmful substances, such as BPA or phthalates, and optimally maintains water quality. The timeless glass design also fits into any kitchen.

In addition to purification, the alkaline variant of the Aqualine 5 offers the possibility to make the water alkaline, which contributes to a healthy pH balance in your body. The pH ring and silver-impregnated Elvan mineral stones add minerals and improve the taste. Moreover, using a water filter reduces reliance on plastic bottles, contributing to a cleaner environment. Replacement filters and mineral sets are available, so you can enjoy pure water for a long time without worrying about maintenance.

The Aqualine 5 not only provides pure drinking water but also enhances its taste and health benefits by making the water alkaline. The added minerals make the water not only healthier but also softer and more delicious.

By choosing an Aqualine 5 water filter (glass), you invest in premium water quality, sustainability, and an environmentally friendly lifestyle. This filtration system not only provides pure and mineral-rich water but also helps reduce plastic waste. Thanks to its multi-stage filtration system and high-quality materials, you always have access to safe, healthy, and tasty drinking water.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is important for long-term use. The ceramic filter lasts 6 to 12 months, depending on water usage. The activated carbon filter should be replaced every 6 months. The mineral stones retain their effectiveness for approximately 3 years, and the pH ring for about a year.

The collection tank can be cleaned with water and a soft brush. The ceramic filter can be gently cleaned with an abrasive sponge. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents, as these affect filter effectiveness.

The full explanation and further information can be found in the maintenance manual.

Aqualine (formerly known as AQV) is a Dutch brand that has been importing South Korean water filter systems since 2001 through the company Tradeline. The filters operate entirely on gravity, without electricity or a fixed water connection: tap water flows downwards through multiple filter layers and emerges purified, mineralised, and with improved taste. The mission is simple: to give everyone access to pure, healthy drinking water.
