Blocks blue light up to 480 nm for optimal comfort during screen work

Long days behind a screen call for eye comfort. The Bionaut Work Glasses are specially developed to relieve your eyes during intensive screen use, both during the day and in the evening. The high-quality Work 480™ lenses filter blue light up to 480 nm, reducing glare and visual fatigue.

Prolonged computer work, gaming and other screen use can tire your eyes. By filtering part of the blue light, you get a calmer and more comfortable view — during the day and in the evening.

Why blue light affects your eyes

Screens, LED lighting and artificial light all emit blue light. With prolonged exposure, such as during a full working day at the computer, this can lead to glare and tired eyes.

By partially filtering this light, you reduce the strain on your eyes during intensive screen use.

Work 480™ filter technology

Not every pair of blue light glasses works the same way.

The Work 480™ lens is developed for daytime use and filters blue light up to 480 nm. This is lighter filtering than the Sleep 550™ lens, so colours look more natural and the glasses are suitable for wearing all day long.

As a result, these glasses offer comfort during prolonged screen work without strongly affecting your colour perception.

Sleep 550™ or Work 480™ – which should you choose?

Not every moment of the day calls for the same protection.

The Work 480™ lens is intended for daytime use. It filters blue light up to 480 nm and is ideal for prolonged computer work, gaming or other screen use during the day and in the evening. It reduces glare and visual fatigue, without the intensity of the Sleep 550™.

The Sleep 550™ lens, on the other hand, is developed for use in the evening. It fully blocks blue and green light up to 550 nm, supporting your natural wind-down towards the night.

In short: wear the Work 480™ during the day for screen work, and the Sleep 550™ in the evening to prepare for the night.
