How to use a good night's sleep glasses™
Wear the glasses 2 to 3 hours before bedtime , or immediately after sunset . This gives your body the chance to prepare for a wonderful, high-quality sleep.
The frames of 365 glasses are made of high-quality acetate. This is a biodegradable, hypoallergenic plastic. The lenses are made of high-quality optically ground plastic (CR39) and feature a hardened coating and a super anti-reflective coating. This eliminates reflections and glare. The lenses block blue light up to 550 nm.
How does blue light affect your sleep?
Blue (and green) light in particular has a major influence on our sleep and our day-night rhythm, or our circadian rhythm.
Exposure to blue light after sunset, such as artificial lighting and screen use, signals to your eyes and body that it's daytime. Time to be awake and alert.
The production of melatonin, a hormone important for our sleep quality, is disrupted by the influence of this blue light. This has a particularly negative impact on our REM sleep and deep sleep.
The disruption of our circadian rhythm by blue and green light leads to poor sleep quality. You do sleep, but the effectiveness of our body's natural recovery during sleep is low. Sleep tight!
PLEASE NOTE : Good Night's Sleep Glasses ™ are not suitable for use in traffic.
