About Cordyceps

Cordyceps militaris is a striking orange mushroom that grows on insect larvae in the wild, hence its Dutch nickname ‘rupsendoder’ (caterpillar killer). The wild variety is rare and costly.

For this extract, the fruiting bodies are therefore grown under controlled conditions. This keeps the quality consistent and spares wild populations.
