Peppermint oil - essential for your bathroom cabinet

Peppermint oil's high menthol content has a cooling and refreshing effect, making it an ideal ingredient in your DIY toothpaste - and of course, it tastes great!

After exercising, it's also wonderful to apply a few drops of peppermint oil diluted in a carrier oil to your tired muscles. The peppermint improves circulation and reduces tension.

Usage and tips

Always mix essential oil with a carrier oil, such as olive oil, almond oil, or jojoba oil. Use about 1-2% essential oil in your products (so, for example, 1-2 grams of peppermint oil per 100 grams of almond oil). Peppermint oil can be quite strong, so be sure to measure it correctly.

Peppermint oil blends well with basil, bergamot, cajeput, cedarwood, eucalyptus, lemon, lime, mandarin, marjoram, niaouli, pine, rosemary, and thyme essential oils.
